Covers Covers Covers

So I don't watch Glee. I would like to make that point right away, you know, just so there's no confusion. But today I saw that they did a cover of "Landslide" and that reminded me of the Smashing Pumpkins cover of the song. This led to me thinking about cover songs in general and I decided to make this list. Here are some of my favorite cover songs:

Landslide - Smashing Pumpkins covering Fleetwood Mac and Stevie Nicks

Bad Company - Five Finger Death Punch covering Bad Company

Metal - Nine Inch Nails covering Gary Numan 

Land of Confusion - Disturbed covering Genesis

Personal Jesus - Marilyn Manson covering Depeche Mode

Smooth Criminal - Alien Ant Farm covering Micheal Jackson

And my favorite cover would have to go to Obadiah Parker with his cover of "Hey Ya" by Outkast 

So maybe not all of these versions of the songs are better than the original, but certainly a few are. Let me know what some of your favorite cover songs are. Thats all for now.
