A Look At Foo

So I learned today that Foo Fighters will be releasing a new album soon (April I've heard) I figured this with White Limo, but also tomorrow we get another sample of the album with Rope. I am pretty excited for a new Foo Fighters album, and I realllllllyyy hope its good. The last FF album Echoes, Silence, Patience and Grace was pretty good, maybe not as good as some of the others, but still a great addition to the FF collection. I started to like FF when I saw the video for Best of You, and that was really when I was starting to get into music in general. Foo Fighters are a great example of a great rock band, they are versatile, consistent and make great music. Songs like The Pretender, and No Way Back are awesome screaming hard rock classics, but then also there are songs like Everlong and Walking After You that are softer and quieter affairs. A good band can make one style of music well, but a great band can do many styles, one just as good as the other. Foo Fighters is a great band. 


Also Dave Grohl is like the coolest person in music. He plays pretty much anything beastly. Drums in Nirvana, Queens of the Stone Age, and Them Crooked Vultures, and Guitar and Vocals in Foo Fighers. Foo Fighters and Dave Grohl seem like they can do just about anything they want, did you see them perform The Who classic Young Man Blues at the VH1 rock honors? It was amazing.

So there you have it Foo Fighters are a great band, a band I am glad to support, and one I hope you will love as well. Although they don't believe HIV has anything to do with AIDS (Seriously) So yeah thats weird. BUT ANYWAY, I can't wait for Rope Tomorrow, and lets hope its better than the new* Soundgarden album. And feel free to let me know if you disagree with my top 5 list, but of course you'd be wrong, (SMILEY FACE!)
